English drama club
New original way of teaching English - through drama activities and games. We teach your children more than just a foreign language. We teach English through the drama and theater activities that are part of our curriculum - activities that children enjoy in and of themselves. Additionally, children learn how to express themselves, speak in public, formulate their thoughts and improve their communication skills. Enjoyably and naturally.

All levels welcomed
Our English drama club welcomes children who are English beginners and those who are already fluent, as well as children from bilingual families. All levels of English are welcome!
Tought by native speaker
The course is led by a native English speaker. Through listening, children learn pronunciation, language intonation and become familiar with various phrases.
What can you look forward to?
Naše lekce budou dynamické, plné zábavných her a pohybových aktivit. Zaměříme se na práci s hlasem, propojování emocí s vnějším světem, nebo ztvárňování divadelních rolí. Cílem každé lekce je si užít spoustu legrace a zábavy, ale taktéž pracovat na jednotlivých scénách dětského divadelního představení. Na konci května 2025 se uskuteční slavnostní závěrečné vystoupení dětí pro rodinu a přátele.
Who will you meet?
Rebecca Riisness
The sessions will be taught by a drama and music teacher Rebecca Riisness. Rebecca is from the USA, and has lived in Prague for over ten years. She inspires children’s natural imagination and connects it with drama stories. Rebecca has worked at the International Montessori School of Prague, currently teaches music at the Little Mole Preschool and leads a drama club at the Gymnázium Jana Nerudy.
Kateřina Štěpánová
Kateřina is the founder and manager of Alma Academy. She loves working with children and her main motto is “where there is will there is a way”. Kateřina leads arts and crafts activities for children and has previous experience from an English preschool. Additionally, she has experience managing and organizing after school and extracurricular activities for children.
Practical information
Kroužek je primárně určen dětem ve věku 7-12 let. Koná se 1x týdně vždy v a Tuesday 4 - 5:30 pm. Each session is 90 minutes, including a short snack break.
Sessions will take place in a modern multifunctional space in ZŠ Náměstí Svobody 2, Prague 6, near metro A Dejvicka.
Pololetní kurzovné je 6 190 Kč (únor- květen) a zahrnuje 15 lekcí.
Kurz začíná v úterý 4. 2. 2024.
